Jak pomysłowy jest zespół, który było stać na tak niedzisiejsze posunięcie, jak wydanie na CD i winylach osiemnastominutowego singla ("The Tain" w 2004 roku)? Myślę, że na tyle, by nie umieszczać go w pojemnym ilościowo, ale ubogim w kreatywność i jakość worku z etykietą "indie pop". Tak właśnie wydawcy czy niektórzy dziennikarze usiłują sklasyfikować...

Zapewne spora grupa naszych czytelników przy okazji tej recenzji o The Decemberists usłyszy po raz pierwszy. Niektórzy być może kojarząj zespół z radiowej Trójki, ale niewątpliwie nie jest to kapela, której płyty z łatwością znajdziemy na sklepowych półkach. Może to być nieco zaskakujące, bo muzycy mają za sobą album The King Is Dead, który zadebiutował...
