Przez długi czas na Paradise Lost wieszano psy za ich nowe wymysły, znacznie odbiegające od tych klasycznych, metalowych. W ostatnich latach zespół zdaje sie podnosić z kolan. Po niezłych "In Requiem" i "Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us" w 2012 wydali dobry, a nawet bardzo dobry krążek. Już od pierwszych taktów "Solitary One" słychać nową-starą jakość,...

Problem z Paradise Lost, tymi ich ostatnimi wydawnictwami, czyli od co najmniej siedmiu lat, jest taki, że zawsze zdarza się nam, sieciowym pseudokrytykom, pisać o rzekomym „powrocie”. Jedni wraz z samozwańczym albumem z roku 2005, drudzy przy okazji „In Requiem”, trzeci (w tym i ja) latka temu trzy, a najbardziej impulsywni dekadę wstecz, przy okazji...

Przed premierą najnowszego zdechlaka Paradise Lost miałem pewne obawy. I to te z kręgu najbardziej prostackich, związanych z wyglądem muzyków. Na zdjęciach promocyjnych jakiś czas temu Nick Holmes znów miał skrócone, mokre włosy przylepione żelem do głowy, jak ongiś podczas sesji zdjęciowej dla "Metal Hammera" przed wydaniem płyty "Komp(h)ost".
