Jeśli „The World”, to rzecz jasna jesień 1997 i Zakopane. Klasa maturalna i prawie tygodniowy wypad w góry. Były pamiętne warsztaty perkusyjne (tzn. bębnienie po drewnianych stołkach w pokoju w pensjonacie, dzięki czemu piętro niżej żyrandole bujały się jak przy dziewięciostopniowym huraganie), było „polowanie na Czerwony Październik” (odtwarzanie kaset...

Kiedy w 1991 roku ukazał się "The World", mało kto słyszał o Pendragon. Wcześniejsze dokonania Nicka Barretta i jego kolegów nie spotykały się ze zbyt wielkim entuzjazmem, jednak upór lidera sprawił, że między 1987 a 1991 rokiem nagrał 6 utworów, podchodząc do nich bardziej profesjonalnie niż dawniej. A może po prostu z większym doświadczeniem.
