Dwa albumy Pata Metheny`ego ukazały się 6 maja: dwupłytowy "The Unity Sessions"zawierający nagrania z wydanego wcześniej DVD i Cuong Vu Trio "Meets Pat Metheny". Czekaliśmy na nie ponad rok, bo w 2015 r. Pat zawiesił muzyczną aktywność po raz pierwszy od 1994 r. Musiał odpocząć po intensywnej trasie z Unity Group, podczas której zawitał także do Polski.

Pat Metheny, wyczerpany trasą z Unity Group, postanowił wziąć wolne i na kilka chwil jego gitara zamilkła. Ale jak na nałogowego pracoholika przystało, niezbyt długi urlop sobie zafundował.
