Przez lata utarła się opinia, że to najsłabsza płyta Osbourne’a – z premedytacją nastawiona na kasowy sukces, zamerykanizowana do cna. Co ciekawe, taki pogląd głosi również sam artysta. Może zabrzmi to złośliwie, ale wolałbym, by hasło „Ozzy i komercja” kojarzyło mi się właśnie z The Ultimate Sin, a nie z przedsięwzięciami, na rzecz których ogranicza...

Ćwiara minęła AD 1986!   Do mojego obecnego stanu psychicznego bardziej pasowałby „Diary of The Madman”, bo mam wrażenie, że trafiłem do jakiegoś matrixu, gdzie nawet prawa fizyki nie obowiązują, a Ozzy z lat osiemdziesiątych jest przy tym chodzącą, trzeźwą normalnością, a jego trasa koncertowa z Motley Crue („Szanuję ich, mogą wypić więcej ode mnie”)...
