Zespół Death . Można powiedzieć o nim bardzo wiele lub po prostu ograniczyć się do jednego słowa - legenda. Realizując wizję swego charyzmatycznego lidera, Chucka Schuldinera, zespół przełamywał formy i schematy i wkraczał w dalekie obszary muzycznego świata, tworząc nową jakość. Jako wzorcowy przykład tej twórczości warto jest sięgnąć po album, nazywany...

The Sound of Perseverance" to ostatni (jak dotychczas) album niesamowitego zespołu Chucka Schuldinera - Death - wydany w 1998 r. Jest to wspaniały przykład, w jaki sposób można, nie zmieniając stylu, rozwijać się. O ile wcześniejsze płyty można określić jako bez cienia przesady naprawdę boskie, to "Sound..." to już prawdziwe mistrzostwo świata. Te kombinacje...

Death zna każdy. Każdy metal wie co to jest. Ale przypomnę, dla porządku To oni stworzyli death metal, to właśnie Chuck Schuldiner (lider) zwany jest ojcem tego gatunku, to on jako pierwszy połączył ostrą muzę z progresją, ale tak, by nadal pozostała to rasowy metal, który niczym wiertara wchodzi w mózg, rozwala czaszkę, dotyka najgłębszych okolic umysłu...
