A.C. Newman to solowy projekt jednego z członków New Pornographers (prawdziwej, hehe, "trójki drombo" kanadyjskiej sceny niezal-popowej). Carl Newman, bo o nim mowa, razem z Neko Case i Danielem Bejarem (Destroyer) tworzą wręcz wybitny "złoty tercet" z pod znaku klonowego liścia (porównywalny jedynie ze słynnym w pewnych kręgach "tercecikiem" Kinowski...
