Roger Waters już nie raz udowadniał, że ma niezwykły talent do tworzenia albumów koncepcyjnych. Spod jego ręki wyszły takie perełki, jak The Wall, czy w dużej mierze Dark side of the moon, których nikomu, kto choć trochę interesuje się muzyką, przedstawiać nie trzeba. Kiedy w nieprzyjemnej atmosferze opuścił zespół Pink Floyd, stanął przed trudnym zadaniem...

Roger Waters zawsze był stary. Zgorzkniały, wiecznie niezadowolony, sarkastyczny i bufonowaty. Apodyktyczny i zuchwały. Prawdziwa, rozkapryszona gwiazda rocka, której woda sodowa uderzyła do głowy. I jeszcze ten przypominający drapanie paznokciem o szybę śpiew paranoika. Irytujący jegomość, którego nie można lubić.
