Reunion" Korna to jedno z większych tegorocznych wydarzeń w świecie muzyki. Oczywiście dla tych, którzy jeszcze nie skreślili grupy po współpracy z dubstepowymi producentami, i dla tych, którzy z wypiekami na twarzy czekają na nowe rzeczy wypuszczane przez ojców nu-metalu.

Byłem jednym z pierwszych, którzy wołali o pomstę do nieba, gdy usłyszałem “Never Never”. Mając w pamięci arcysłabą (przynajmniej moim zdaniem) poprzednią płytę i tegoroczny koncert w ramach Impact Festival, na którym niebywale się wynudziłem, sądziłem, że Korn nie może mnie już niczym zaskoczyć. A z resztą. Ja ich przecież nigdy nie lubiłem.

Swoim poprzednim albumem KORN wkradł się w moje łaski. Ich wcześniejsze dokonania raczej do mnie nie trafiały. Powiem więcej... delikatnie mówiąc mnie drażniły.

Po tak kuriozalnym wydawnictwie jak "The Path Of Totality" byłem bardzo ciekawy tego, co pokaże Korn na nowym albumie i czy flirt z dubstepem zostanie podtrzymany. Domyślam się, że zespół jest świadomy tego, że ich formuła zaczęła się powoli wyczerpywać, i stąd decyzje o eksperymentach. Na starszych płytach pamiętamy przecież kontrowersyjne gościnne...

Wbrew tytułowi nowej płyty Korn nie dokonuje na niej zmiany paradygmatu swojej muzyki. Mamy tu do czynienia raczej z syntezą starego brzmienia grupy i dubstepowych fajerwerków stanowiących główny składnik ostatniego albumu zespołu "The Path of Totallity".

Ostatnimi czasy tak często występowali w Polsce, iż trudno o nich nie słyszeć. Korn – klasyka gatunku, obok którego nikt nie przechodzi obojętnie.  Są kochani albo nienawidzeni. Zapraszam na podróż po albumie, który może być jednak obojętny.
