The Strokes zachwycili świat swoim debiutanckim albumem "Is This It" (2001), który zapoczątkował nową rockową rewolucję. Z czasem w ich piosenkach coraz mniej było garażowego brudu, a coraz więcej elementów muzyki tanecznej.

Nowojorska grupa The Strokes powróciła z pierwszym od 7 lat albumem studyjnym, na którym usłyszeć można wyraźną zmianę stylistyczną. Jaką? O tym w recenzji autorstwa Jakuba Oślaka.

Na nowy album The Strokes czekało pewnie tak samo wiele osób, jak wiele nie spodziewało się po zespole, że może nagrać coś bardzo dobrego. A jednak, udało im się to. Pewnie w dużej mierze dzięki temu, że nie próbują kopiować siebie sprzed kilkunastu lat.
