Corinne Bailey Rae długo kazała czekać wszystkim fanom na swoją nową muzykę, od premiery ostatniego albumu „The Sea” minęło 6 lat. Jednakże na artystkę nie sposób się złościć, ten długi okres „milczenia” sowicie wynagrodziła najnowszym albumem „The Heart Speaks In Whispers”.

Corinne Bailey Rae, to jedna z tych nielicznych wielkich gwiazd współczesnej sceny muzycznej, która nie pojawia się na okładkach kolorowych czasopism, nie gości na stronach plotkarskich portali internetowych, nie wywołuje coraz to głośniejszych skandali..., lecz po prostu tworzy wspaniałą, wyjątkową i niepowtarzalną muzykę, którą to następnie dzieli...

Muzyka się zmienia, ale Corinne Bailey Rae nadal czaruje i uwodzi słuchacza powabem i subtelnością jak mało kto. Na The Heart Speaks in Whispers po sześcioipółletniej przerwie wokalistka odradza się w baśniowej międzygwiezdnej aurze, muzycznie i tekstowo zmyślnie mieszając quietstormową wrażliwość z ujmującą nierzeczywistością odległych wyśnionych światów....
