Hades to pionierzy sceny Black Metalowej, również jako jedni z pierwszych zostali zaliczeni do jej elity. Debiutancki album "Again Shall Be" przyniósł im rozgłos i należytą sławę, uczynił z małej lokalnej kapelki band wielkiego formatu. Niestety nastały pewne problemy kadrowe, konkretniej: Jorn i Janto zostali skazani za udział w spaleniu kilku kosciolow.
