Freedom Call powstał w roku 1998, choć jego założyciele - Chris Bay i Dan Zimmermann - spotkali się po raz pierwszy już dziesięć lat wcześniej. Jednak dopiero pod koniec lat 90-tych udało im znaleźć odpowiednich ludzi, a także ilość czasu na tyle dużą (szczególnie dotyczy to Zimmermanna, którego Gamma Ray miała właśnie coś na kształt wakacji), by stworzyć...
