Hope Dies Last śpiewa tym swoim smutnym głosem Ray Alder w czwartym na płycie utworze. Jakże wyjątkowe słowa w kontekście historii tej amerykańskiej formacji. Przypomnę, że jeszcze przed wydaniem dwóch poprzednich albumów u lidera grupy Nicka Van Dyka zdiagnozowano  nowotwór krwi. W konsekwencji tegoż ostatni krążek This Mortal Coil, zresztą naprawdę...
