W 2011 r. słuchacze z miejsca pokochali Foster The People. Za co? Za własną wizję tanecznego popu, zwroty w stronę disco i energię, której w pewnym momencie brakowało nawet rockowym zespołom. Herezje, farmazony? Zdecydowanie nie.

Druga płyta Foster The People miała dać odpowiedź na pytanie, czy zespół był tylko rewelacją jednego sezonu. Wygląda na to, że grupie z Kalifornii nie udało się jednak pokonać syndromu drugiej płyty.

Jeśli czekaliście na to, że Foster the People będą fabryką hitów na poziomie "Pumped up Kicks", byliście naiwni. Powtórzyć bangera na tym poziomie im się nie udaje (i nie uda?). Co dają w zamian? I wiele, i niewiele.

Foster the People to autorzy jednego z lepszych wydawnictw 2011 roku. Świetny melodyjny debiut z przebojowym Pumped Up Kicks, które zawładnęło rozgłośniami radiowymi na całym świecie znalazł wielu fanów. Mamy rok 2014, a Amerykanie uznali, że to najwyższy czas, aby jego następca – Supermodel – ujrzał światło dzienne. Zobaczmy zatem czy chłopaki nadal...
