Ciekawe jaki kształt przybrałaby ta płyta, gdyby obowiązki gitarzysty spełniał tutaj niejaki Tony Iommi... Los chciał inaczej i Tony zajał się kładzeniem fundamentów pod ciężki rock, z Black Sabbath, a Ian Anderson dobrał sobie do kompanii Martina Lancelota Barre. Zespól oderwał się (aczkolwiek nie do końca...) od bluesowych korzeni i poczłapał w nowym...

Stand Up" ukazała się w wyjątkowym dla muzyki rockowej 1969 roku. Druga płyta w dyskografii Jethro Tull wspięła się w Wielkiej Brytanii na szczyt notowania albumów, a za Oceanem pokryła się złotem. Ian Anderson, lider Jethro Tull, uważa ją za swoją ulubioną płytę zespołu. Nie tylko on, bo także wielu oddanych fanów grupy, do których z pewnością zalicza...

Piątek z Agronomem - odcinek II.   “This Was” została zauważona przez publiczność. Nie była może bestsellerem, ale sprzedawała się całkiem nieźle, prasa muzyczna też przyjęła ją dość przychylnie.
