Oczekiwania wobec "Somewhere Along the Highway", następcy tak znakomitej płyty, jaką okazała się "Salvation", były ogromne. Szwedzi wiedzieli o tym doskonale. Starając się stworzyć kolejne post-metalowe dzieło, pierwsze sesje nagraniowe odbyli w... drewnianej chatce, otocznej "blair witch'ową" (jak sami ją określali) scenerią. To miało dodać albumowi...
