Ringo Starr całkiem niedawno dostąpił zaszczytu wprowadzenia do Rock`n`Roll Hall of Fame. Podczas ceremonii wystąpił wspólnie z dawnym kolegą z The Beatles – Paulem McCartney`em. Mimo przekroczenia siedemdziesiątki wciąż pozostaje bardzo aktywnym muzykiem.

​Solowe albumy najbardziej pomijanego Beatlesa nie były tak chętnie zauważane przez media jak kolejne nagrania byłych kolegów z zespołu. Wsłuchując się w najnowszą płytę Ringo Starra, "Postcards from Paradise", łatwo zrozumieć dlaczego.
