A teraz co?! Szacunek. Przede wszystkim za to, że zespół Deep Purple wciąż jest niesamowicie twórczy. Wciąż bardzo głodny muzyki. Znamy i lubimy kilka rockowych legend za to, że grają zawsze po swojemu, wydaje się, że ciągle tak samo, ale jednak jest to bardziej bezpieczna i łatwiejsza droga od tej, którą podąża Ian Gillan i jego koledzy. Zwłaszcza...

Starzy wyjadacze jak widać nie rdzewieją i ostatnio często przypominają młodym adeptom o swoim istnieniu. Niedawno opisywaliśmy na tych łamach album Black Sabbath, teraz czas na powrót Deep Purple (chronologicznie powinno być odwrotnie, ale dzięki temu płytę przesłuchałem kilkanaście razy). Premiera albumu Now What?! miała miejsce już ponad miesiąc temu. Jednak już teraz można powiedzieć, że krążek ten pięknie komponuje się z całą historią twórczości brytyjskiego zespołu. Najnowsza płyta Deep Purple to zbiór muzyki łączącej pokolenia.

Najlepszy album legendy rocka od czasów „Purpendicular”! Blisko dwie dekady trzeba było czekać na tak wysoki artystyczny wzlot twórców „Smoke on The Water” i „Perfect Strangers”. Długo zbierali się również do samego nagrania „Now What?!” – od premiery poprzednika minęło aż osiem lat. Przyznam szczerze: zwątpiłem już czy ten nowy materiał w ogóle zostanie...

Legenda powraca. Powraca z albumem stawiającym śmiałe pytanie "Co teraz?!". Odpowiedź nasuwa się sama po przesłuchaniu płyty - brzmi ona "grajcie chłopaki dalej, bo nadal robicie to z klasą, nagrywając najlepszy album od czasów "Perfect Strangers".
