Album Evy Cassidy pt "Nightbird" jest zapisem koncertu który odbył się 3 stycznia 1996 roku w klubie jazzowym Blues Alley w Georgetown. Na samym początku na płycie miało się znaleźć 12 utworów, lecz po przesłuchaniu całego koncertu, Bill Straw, dyrektor wytwórni Blix Street Records wiedział, że warto pokazać światu całe nagranie z tej nocy.
