Od założenia grupy The Police w 1977 roku Sting sprzedał ponad 100 mln albumów, zdobył 17 nagród Grammy i zyskał szczere uwielbienie rzeszy słuchaczy na całym świecie. Jak wyjaśnia, płyta "My Songs" to jego życie opowiedziane piosenkami.

Jeśli należysz do tych artystów lub jesteś członkiem jednego z tych zespołów, których hity tygodniami okupują listy przebojów – nie ma siły: prędzej czy później zaświta ci w głowie pomysł, by choć część z tych przebojów wydać raz jeszcze w nowych wersjach i ponownie zarobić na nich niezłą kasę. Pal sześć, jeśli wyjdzie ci to tak dobrze, jak choćby Scorpionsom...
