Większość zespołów z kręgu modnego jeszcze kilka lat temu nu metalu zabrnęła w ślepą uliczkę. Udaną próbę wydostania się z feralnego zaułka podjęła formacja Linkin Park, a dopomógł jej w tym sławny producent Rick Rubin (Slayer, Metallica, RHCP,U2).

Fani to taki specyficzny podgatunek człowieka. Od swoich idoli wymagają, by czymś ich zaskakiwali, ale zarazem by byli ciągle tacy sami. Najprostszym wyjściem dla sztukmistrzów z tej patowej sytuacji, jest nieoglądanie się na innych i robienie tego, na co akurat w danej chwili ma się ochotę.

Znów szarżują! Jedna z najpopularniejszych nu metalowych kapel, skrajnie znienawidzona i kochana, nazywana „świętą krową nastolatków”, znów wzbudza skrajne emocje. Oto powrócił Linkin Park! Tym razem burza będzie jeszcze większa, bo muzycy spełnili obietnice o stylistycznym przewrocie (ewenement!), a do tego za konsoletą zasiadł legendarny Rick Rubin...
