Animal Collective to z pewnością jeden z najbardziej intrygujących zespołów ostatnich lat. W ich nagraniach zlewają się tak różne elementy, jak psychodelia, folk, funk, gospel, hip hop, rock`n`roll i ambient. Stosują przy tym całą paletę udziwnień i zaskakujących zmian tempa, sięgają po elektronikę, smyczki, niepowtarzalnie brzmią wykonywane przez nich...

Każdorazowa próba wyzyskania możliwości uczestnictwa w czymś więcej niż "doznawaniu" produktu finalnego, nadzieja na powtórne nadejście dzieła, którego narodziny stopniowo mogłaby śledzić cała społeczność, jak – nie szukając daleko – w przypadku Person Pitch, zdeterminowała losy nowego albumu ludzi, którzy tak o sobie nie myślą.
