Ostatni album studyjny Dio pt. „Master Of The Moon” ukazał się w 2004 roku. Później kapela wydała jeszcze materiały koncertowe, ale do nagrywania w studio nigdy nie powróciła.

Master Of The Moon zaczyna się typowo dla Dio, od wybuchowego One More For The Road. Niestety, to jedyny szybki numer na płycie – wszystkie pozostałe utrzymane są w niemal jednakowym, kroczącym tempie, co wprowadza pewną monotonię i należy do minusów albumu. Naprawdę świetnych utworów też trochę tu brakuje. Obok One More For The Road takim jest na pewno...

Mógłbym napisać we wstępie, że Ronnie James Dio to jeden z największych wokalistów wszech czasów. No w sumie nie największy, bo wzrostem nie grzeszy. Za to głosem oj tak. Mógłbym napisać też jakiś epos o jego karierze. Ale po co? Kto go zna, ten go docenia. A jak ktoś nie zna, to polecam zapoznać się z twórczością Dio od "Master Of The Moon" właśnie.
