Wraz z czwartym albumem, nawet postronny fan zrozumiał że ANNIHILATOR to nie jest zespół z krwi i kości, lecz autorytarnie zarządzany twór. Na płytę "King of the Kill" wszystkie instrumenty (oprócz bębnów) oraz wokale zarejestrował mózg przedsięwzięcia - Jeff Waters. Kolejnym elementem rozwoju było płynne przechodzenie w coraz to bardziej melodyjne...

Jestem zdziwiony, że niektórzy stawiają ten album przed genialnym "Alice In Hell". Nie mówię, że "King Of The Kill" jest złe - to świetny album, ale nie ma tu tego nawiedzonego ducha i spontanu znanego z "Alicji". Ponadto muzyka jest nieco uproszczona i zdecydowanie bardziej przystępna.
