Wokalistka i gitarzystka nagrodzonego Grammy zespołu Alabama Shakes debiutuje solowym albumem i z miejsca wymiata całą konkurencję. Jego tytuł jest hołdem dla zmarłej siostry, która wciągnęła ją w świat muzyki i nauczyła pisać poezję. To także coś na kształt rachunku sumienia kobiety po przekroczeniu trzydziestki.

Brittany Howard debiutuje solowo, ale daleko jej do dopiero raczkującej w branży artystki. Dokonania zespołu Alabama Shakes, który założyła wraz z kolegami, mogły wzbudzić zazdrość niejednej formacji. Tym razem jednak wokalistka i gitarzystka postanowiła odpocząć od bandu, zaryzykować oraz zrobić coś dla siebie. Pod własnym szyldem. Oto Jaime, czyli...

Jeśli szaleństwo, rozmach i fantazja są najlepszym sposobem na wskrzeszenie soulu, to solowy debiut wokalistki Alabama Shakes jest najlepszym lekarstwem na otarcie łez (wreszcie!) po śmierci Prince’a. Tym bardziej, że „Jaime” jest nie tylko najlepszą tegoroczną płytą z korzennym, „czarnym” graniem, ale również osobistym i bardzo emocjonalnym hołdem...
