W czasie gdy Finowie z Nightwish cieszyli się przyzwoitą popularnością i statusem zespołu jednoczącego fanów power metalu i gotyckich dźwięków, propozycja zespołu Sharon Den Adel kupiła fanów na całym świecie.

Pozytywnie zaskakuje mnie droga, którą idzie Within Temptation. Zespół, który jest synonimem symfonicznego metalu, zaczął zbaczać z wydeptanych ścieżek, szukając swojej tożsamości na nowo. Już na poprzednim krążku Holendrzy odcięli się nieco od swych dotychczasowych dokonań zarówno pod względem muzycznym (płyta jest momentami wręcz power metalowa),...

O tej płycie zrobiło się głośno w naszym rockowym światku długo przed datą wydania, gdy media obiegła wiadomość, że do wykonania utworu „Whole World Is Watching” zaproszony został Piotr Rogucki. Współpraca polskich artystów z gwiazdami międzynarodowego formatu nie zdarza się wszak często, więc szum zrozumiały. Co prawda Roguca próżno szukać w wersji...

Within Temptation (skrót. WT) to jeden z najlepszych i najpopularniejszych zespołów grających tzw. symfoniczny metal, bądź symfoniczny melodyjny power metal w europejskim wydaniu (hashtagów można wymyślać wiele, wiadomo o co chodzi). Przynajmniej było tak dopóki ten gatunek trzymał się bardzo dobrze (gdzieś od połowy lat '90 przez kolejne 10-15 lat)...

Szósty studyjny album grupy Within Temptation, Hydra, należał do najgorętszych premier 2014 roku. Mówiono o nim dużo. Że będzie najostrzejszy w historii grupy, że będzie nawiązywał do starszych nagrań, że będzie na nim growl itp. itd. Przyznam, że te wszystkie obietnice nieco mnie zaniepokoiły. Jak ktoś opowiada niestworzone rzeczy o swojej muzyce,...
