„O takie kompilacje walczyłem!” – mogą wreszcie napisać, oczywiście z przymrużeniem oka, wszyscy fani zjawiskowej Mary J. Blige – wokalistki, która wyniosła do rangi sztuki raczej niezbyt ceniony gatunek, jakim jest R&B, w swoim bardziej komercyjnym wydaniu. Ale zanim córka Bronksu stała się divą czarnej muzyki, szukała swojego miejsca w świecie muzyki...
