W przypadku Massive Attack ostatnią dekadę spędziliśmy na rozważaniach, czy to już koniec trip-hopowej legendy, czy może czekamy na jej nowy początek? Po premierze "100th Window" w 2003 roku, kilku kolaboracjach, udzielaniu się na soundtrackach, zabawie w remiksy i wydaniu kompilacji podsumowującej karierę, spodziewalibyśmy się raczej artystycznego...

Choć klimat w naszym pięknym kraju stał się zdecydowanie bardziej przyjazny, do mych drzwi zapukała (nie)piękna pani zwana anginą, zaś ja, jak zwykle pełen kurtuazji, z uśmiechem na ustach otworzyłem jej drzwi. Najgorsze, na szczęście, już za mną, niemniej błogi urlop trwa dalej, a jak jest urlop, to jest kupa wolnego czasu. W sam raz tyle, żeby w końcu...

Podobno Mateuszowi Jędrasowi nie chciało się posłuchać tej płyty na potrzeby recenzji. Żadne zaskoczenie – trudno wymagać, żeby muzyczny snob był w stanie wykrzesać z siebie jakiekolwiek zainteresowanie płytą Massive Attack w 2010 roku. Spójrzmy prawdzie w oczy: tylko superbohaterowie w świecie muzyki popularnej są w stanie nagrywać istotne albumy w...

Ciekawe, co poza talentem wynegocjował za swoją duszę Robert del Naja. Bo że podpisał cyrograf to pewne. I zobowiązał się nagrywać tylko skrajnie mroczną i piękną muzykę. Nawet jeśli utwór miałby się składać tylko z oldschoolowego klawiszka i klaskania (jak „Paradise Circus”).
