Pamiętam kiedy zobaczyłem klip na VIVIE - byłem przekonany, ze to powrót jakiegoś klasycznego bandu z lat 80-tych. Pytani sprzedawcy ze sklepów muzycznych też robili duże oczy na tą nazwę - tymczasem działo się coś bezprecedensowego. Hammerfall był prowodyrem heavymetalowego zrywu drugiej połowy lat 90-tych, a właściwie nawet od tego czasu zaczęto mówić...

Hammerfall to jeden z bardziej obiecujących zespołów na europejskiej scenie heavymetalowej. Powstali w 1993 roku w Szwecji z inicjatywy gitarzysty Oscara Dronjaka, ale ich pierwsza płyta ukazała się dopiero w roku 1997. Zespół generalnie nawiązuje do tradycyjnego heavy metalu, ocierając się o stylistykę power. Debiutancki album jest dość obiecującym...

Kroki, pstryk, jasność, kroki, pstryk, uuuuiiiiIIIII... Piła w pobliskim tartaku rozpoczęła kolejny pracowity dzień. Od prawie dwudziestu lat codziennie od rana do wieczora coraz to nowe tarcze obracają się szaleńczo, niestrudzenie rozpoławiając krzyczące pnie. Dźwięk, niosący się po z wolna odrastającym lesie, trzyma w bezpiecznej odległości wszystko...
