Coalesce to nieistniejący już band, który grał mix hardcora i metalu. W rezultacie powstała właściwie nowa jakość. W momencie debiutu kapela była w gronie kilku wyjątkowo oryginalnych zespołów, które w tamtym czasie poszukiwały swego miejsca na scenie hardcorowej.
