Drugi album Aerosmith, "Get Your Wings", jest zdecydowanie bardziej dojrzałym dziełem grupy niż wydany rok wcześniej debiut. Formacja nie zrywa z klasycznym rock and rollem, ale tylko wzbogaca go w nowe elementy, takie jak saksofon, puzon czy trąbka. Bogatsze w treść są tu również urozmaicone sola gitarowe.
