Forever Young" grupy Alphaville jest z pewnością najciekawszym albumem synthpopowym spoza rynku brytyjskiego. Przeszło trzy dekady temu Niemcom udało się stworzyć dzieło doskonałe pod każdym względem.

Lata mijają, a ja wciąż chętnie wracam do tego albumu, mimo, że z propozycjami niemieckiej grupy rozbrat wziąłem gdzieś pod koniec lat osiemdziesiątych. Wiem, że wciąż grają, że wciąż nagrywają płyty (chociaż z częstotliwością bliższą raczej Boston niż Rickowi Wakemanowi), ale fragmenty tych nowych produkcji Alphaville, które gdzieś tam do mnie docierały...

Towarzyszu podróży, zbudowałeś byt swój zasklepiając jak termit wyloty ku światłu i zwinąłeś się w kłębek w kokonie nawyków, w dławiącym rytuale codziennego życia, i choć przyprawia cię on co dzień o szaleństwo
