Po sześciu latach ukazała się wreszcie nowa płyta nowojorskiej grupy Vampire Weekend. To długie milczenie wynagradza nam podwójny krążek z 18 piosenkami. Nagrodzoną Grammy w kategorii Najlepszy Album Alternatywny ich poprzednią płytą "Modern Vampires of the City" muzycy postawili bardzo wysoko poprzeczkę.

Wiosna w pełni, a lato, mam nadzieję, tuż za rogiem. Sezon wręcz domaga się energetycznej, pełnej optymizmu muzyki o jasnych stronach życia. Z pomocą przychodzi zespół Vampire Weekend i ich pierwszy od prawie sześciu (!) lat album, Father of the Bride.

Jeśli mnie dotychczasowe porcysowe doświadczenia nie mylą, jestem przedstawicielem – jeśli nie jedynym, to na pewno wąziutkiej grupki, którą Tony Iommi policzyłby na palcach jednej ręki - fanów projektu Vampire Weekend. Właściwie to byłem. I przy okazji premiery najnowszego albumu nowojorczyków wychodzę na głupka. Afrykańskie inspiracje i ujmujące,...
