Mainstreamowym skrytożercom mówimy: nie! Kolejna banalna do znudzenia płytka omamiła statystycznego "ambitnego" słuchacza. Pomijam zagorzałych fanów (Aneta: co sądzisz o Exciter?), ale nie mogę pominąć całego tłumu obojętnych na legendę zespołu zwolenników tego krążka. Za co, pytam się? Tym, co zachwyceni są kolażem brzmień elektronicznych i akustycznych...

Depeche Mode to - zwłaszcza w Polsce - zespół kultowy. W latach osiemdziesiątych ich oddani fani tworzyli subkulturę tak zwanych depeszowców, organizujących liczne zloty i naśladujących image swoich idoli.
