Czegokolwiek Type O Negative by nie nagrali zawsze będzie to miało swój niepowtarzalny styl. Paradoksalnie, bo w stylu Type O Negative mieszają się wpływy wielu innych wykonawców począwszy od Black Sabbath poprzez The Beatles a na zespołach punkowych skończywszy.
