Na Damaged mamy wszystkie te elementy, do jakich Lambchop zdążył nas już przyzwyczaić: niepowtarzalny śpiew ( czy jak kto woli melodeklamacja) Kurta Wagnera, alt-country'owe brzmienie gitar, smyczki (na szczęście mniej niż na dwupłytowym wydawnictwie z 2004 roku), nieco jazzujące aranżacje, leniwe tempo. W zasadzie tylko raz, w closerze, muzycy rezygnują...
