Mimo iż drugi album Steely Dan nie odniósł takiego sukcesu komercyjnego jak pierwszy, to moim zdaniem jest równie wyśmienitym daniem. Obowiązki wokalisty na dobre przejął Donald Fagen (teraz musiał już przełamać swoją sceniczną tremę). Gitarowi wymiatacze Dias i Baxter oraz bębniący Jim Hodder zostali w składzie. Oczywiście nie obyło się bez wielu muzyków...
