To był z pewnością wyjątkowo intensywny rok dla In Flames (1999): trasa w Europie, w Japonii, pierwsza wizyta w Stanach, ciągły pęd, do tego zakończony wizytą w studiu i nagraniem kolejnego krążka! Tak, piąty już długograj zespołu, „Clayman”, ukazał się w lipcu 2000 roku, czyli trochę ponad jeden kalendarz po „Colony”, albumie – przypomnijmy – zwyczajnie...

Ulver
Usłyszałem kiedyś, że In Flames grają jak cięższe Iron Maiden. Uwielbiam "dziewice" (bez skojarzeń :) ), więc od razu zainteresowałem się tym zespołem. I nie zawiodłem się. Melodyka jak u Ironów, ale cięższe gitary, głośniejsza perkusja i krzyczany wokal. To zwykle odstrasza fanów heavy, ale można się przyzwyczaić (wiem po sobie).
