Burn jest debiutem trzeciego składu Deep Purple; Gillana i Glovera zastąpili David Coverdale i Glenn Hughes. Ten pierwszy miał do zaoferowania potężny głos z charakterystycznym „uduchowieniem” w co bardziej balladowych momentach, Hughes z kolei objął etat śpiewającego basisty – utwory komponowano zatem w taki sposób, aby obaj mogli wykazać się swymi...

Wpływ twórczości Deep Purple na muzykę rockową jest ogromny. To nie ulega wątpliwości. Dorobek artystyczny również jest godny podziwu. Dla ilu muzyków zespół ten był ważną inspiracją? Tego nawet nie próbujmy liczyć. Częste przetasowania personalne, które miały miejsce na przestrzeni ponad czterdziestu lat, spowodowały, że każdy album ukazywał zupełnie...

W 1973 roku sytuacja Deep Purple wydawała się mocno nieciekawa. I co gorsza taka była. Zespół nagrał marną płytę „Who Do You Think We Are” , a niedługo potem opuścili go basista Roger Glover i wokalista Ian Gillan. Furda bassman, do miarowego dudnienia w tle na czterech strunach, zdolnego człowieka znaleźć stosunkowo łatwo. Poza tym , kto na niego zwraca...
