No Plan B" w podtytule ma podkreślać, że artysta nie traktował tych nagrań jako próby, lecz ich sesja na żywo miała miejsce w studio. To już 35. album wokalisty, kompozytora, a niekiedy też pianisty, gitarzysty i saksofonisty altowego, który działa na styku rocka , rhythm`n`bluesa, country i jazzu przez niemal pół wieku.
