W latach 80. w Niemczech największą gwiazdą heavy metalu była z pewnością grupa Scorpions, ale niewiele ustępowała jej formacja Accept. W jej nagraniach szczególną uwagę zwracał wrzaskliwy śpiew Udo Dirkschneidera i masywne, acz melodyjne brzmienie.

Jak wiadomo, subkultura metalowa zawsze była dość konserwatywna w swoich poglądach w kwestii zmiany muzyków oryginalnego składu i zastępowania ich odpowiednikami zwykle młodszymi i mniej znanymi. Jednakże "reuniony" klasycznych zespołów po latach w nowym składzie to dzisiaj już norma. Tak stało się również w przypadku niemieckich weteranów z Accept....

Accept - solidny, niemiecki heavy metalowy potwór, powstał w 1968 roku! Wtedy jeszcze grał Elvis, a King Crimson nawet nie istniał. Wprawdzie swój pierwszy album Niemcy wydali 11 lat później, ale są to czasy tak archaiczne, że nalezą się im wielkie brawa i podziw, że wydali bardzo dobry album i są w znakomitej formie.
