Album wielkich powrotów. Prócz powrotu starego wokalisty – Zetry do kapeli, “Blood In Blood Out” reklamowana była jako ta, na którą wraca Kirk Hammett. Żeby zagrać solówkę w jednym numerze (“Salt the Wound”). I jest to najgorszy moment tej płyty.

Dawno, dawno temu do dobrego tonu należało nagrywanie metalowych płyt, których czas trwania nie przekraczałby 45 minut. Dokładnie tyle, ile mieściło się na jednej stronie 90-minutowej taśmy
