Nile powrócił z drugą, miażdżącą płytą. Po bardzo dobrym przyjęciu poprzedniego albumu, grupa miała niezwykle trudne zadanie. Musiała udowodnić, że wszelkie pokładane w niej nadzieje nie były przypadkowe i przedwczesne. O ile pierwszy krążek - "Amongst The Catacombs Of Nephren-Ka" - uczynił z Nile najbardziej spektakularny debiut 1998 roku, to "Black...

Przypomnijmy, że w 1998 roku zespół Nile, wydając swą debiutancką płytę, dokonał rzeczy - jak się wtedy wydawało - niemożliwej: udowodnił, że w brutalnym death metalu nie zostało jeszcze powiedziane ostatnie słowo i nie ostatni dźwięk został zagrany. Tym bardziej wyostrzył mi się smak na następcę przesławnego "Amongst The Catacombs Of Nephren - Ka".
