Debiutancki album Mumford & Sons, wskrzeszając nieco zakurzoną i nieeksplorowaną stylistykę bluegrass, łącząc ją z indie folkiem, zapewnił grupie olbrzymi sukces artystyczno-komercyjny. Najnowsze wydawnictwo chłopaków zatytułowane "Babel" konsekwentnie kontynuuje obraną na debiucie drogę, kładąc nieco większy nacisk na elementy muzycznego tła, oraz...

Złośliwi mówią, że druga płyta Anglików z Mumford & Sons to jedna piosenka zagrana 12 razy (a w wersji deluxe - 15). Cóż z tego, skoro w każdej kolejnej odsłonie jest ona tak samo urzekająca. "Babel" jest płytą urokliwie lekką, bezpretensjonalną, z której wylewa się radosne światło.

Mało którym zespołom udaje się stworzyć drugą płytę tak, aby równie dobrze zapadła w pamięć jak pierwsza i aby ją przewyższyła, tą za pomocą której zyskali rozgłos i sławę. Nie da się od tego uciec, kiedyś musiała nadejść ta chwila, a Mumford & Sons potrzebowali 3 lat, by nabrać sił, pomysłów i zachwycić po raz drugi. Brytyjczycy w bardzo krótkim czasie...
