Jedną z moich ulubionych kapel tzw. Brytyjskiej Inwazji lat 60-tych w muzyce rockowej jest grupa The Kinks. Zespół powstał na początku lat sześćdziesiątych, a założyli go dwaj bracia: Raymond i Dave Davies. Po dołączeniu  basisty Pete’a Quaife’a i perkusisty Micka Avory zmienili nazwę z The Ravens na The Kinks i wyruszyli w swoją, długą muzyczną drogę.
