Po niecałych 2 latach muzycy Soulfy wydali kolejny album – „Archangel”. Jest to już 10 płyta w ich dyskografii. Ciekawostką jest również, że jest to ich najkrótsze dzieło – trwa bowiem 36 minut. Najdłuższy, tytułowy utwór zajmuje niecałe 5 minut, co jest dużą zmianą chociażby w porównaniu do poprzedniego albumu „Savages”. Tyle jeżeli chodzi o liczby.

W ostatnich latach Max Cavalera stał się głosicielem kontrowersyjnych opinii, ale to nie przeszkadza mu w pozostawaniu na topie wśród twórców metalu. Dziesiąty album Soulfly tylko to potwierdza.

Dziesiąta płyta Soulfly jest, jak tłumaczy Max Cavalera, nowym początkiem dla grupy. Coś jest na rzeczy, bo „Archangel” to najlepszy album zespołu od dekady.
