W 1972 roku przedstawiciele Warner Records wpadli na pomysł, aby muzycy Grateful Dead ponagrywali swoje własne solowe albumy. W tamtym czasie w grupie nie działo się za dobrze. Konflikt pomiędzy Garcią a Weirem o to w którym kierunku dalej ma pójść zespół, kłopoty zdrowotne "Pigpena" mogły takim pomysłem doprowadzić do kresu działalności zespołu. Trzech...
