Wreszcie, po wielokrotnym przesuwaniu daty premiery, zmianach tytułu oraz odwołanym koncercie w Polsce (jeszcze raz brawa dla organizatorów), otrzymujemy "Absolute Dissent": czternasty album Killing Joke. Pierwszy od 28 lat nagrany w oryginalnym składzie, czyli: Jaz Coleman na wokalu, Kevin "Geordie" Walker na gitarze, Martin "Youth" Glover na basie...

Po dwudziestu ośmiu latach Killing Joke nagrało płytę w oryginalnym składzie. Ostatni raz w tym zestawie personalnym pracowali przy „Revelations” – takim sobie szczerze mówiąc. Niestety wydarzeniem, które w jakiś sposób przyczyniło się do tego, była śmierć długoletniego basisty grupy, Paula Ravena. Muzycy spotkali się na pogrzebie i postanowili, że...

Oryginalny, pierwszy skład Killing Joke (Jaz Coleman – śpiew, Kevin „Geordie” Walker – gitara, Martin „Youth” Glover – gitara basowa i „Big” Paul Ferguson – perkusja) wrócił do studia po 28 latach, czego owocem jest album opatrzony tytułem „Absolute Dissent”.
