Pierwsza solowa płyta Davida Gilmoura była trochę takim odprężeniem, wyluzowaniem, wykorzystaniem możliwości pogrania z dawnymi znajomymi. Powstał album z jednej strony ciekawy, pełen bardzo interesujących solówek gitarowych, z drugiej nieco niedopracowany kompozycyjnie. Drugi album miał być czymś poważniejszym. Wszak powstawał w czasie, gdy los Pink...
